On September 30, 2009 Hedge Connection and Lighthouse Prime Services hosted another successful investor roundtable session. Held in midtown Manhattan, the event offered 22 hedge fund managers the opportunity to introduce their fund to a wide divesity of investors include 5 Fund of funds, 3 Family offices, 2 HNW, 1 Seeder, 1 Endowment.
The investor roundtable format is efficient and effective saving both investors and hedge fund managers precious time. The event was capped by a fun cocktail reception on the roof deck of the Roosevelt Hotel.
We know of at least 10 allocations that have come out of the 8 investor/manager forums that we have held since October 2008. This during one of the hardest capital raising environments in history.
